Summary
A discipline committee of the Real Estate Council of British Columbia (the "Council") accepted the Consent Order Proposal submitted by Cheryl Chih Yu Kang and found that Ms. Kang committed professional misconduct when she:
- provided rental property management services, when not licensed to do so; and
- provided rental property management services separate and apart from the Brokerage.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered, and Ms. Kang has agreed to, the following penalties:
- a discipline penalty of $7,500;
- enforcement expenses of $1,500; and
- successful completion of the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course.
