Summary
Sailendra Jainesh (John) Prasad, while licensed with Triovest Realty Advisors (Triovest), committed deceptive dealing and conduct unbecoming a licensee.
Mr. Prasad engaged in deceptive dealing when he created false purchase orders and invoices, and deceived Triovest into making payments to a third party contractor to satisfy the false invoices.
Mr. Prasad committed conduct unbecoming a licensee when he knowingly created and submitted the false invoices with the intent to defraud his employer. His conduct was contrary to the best interests of the public, undermined public confidence in the real estate industry, and brought the real estate industry into disrepute.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered the following:
- Mr. Prasad is prohibited from applying for licensing for 5 years from the date of this Order.
- Mr. Prasad must pay a discipline penalty of $7,500.00 to the Council.
- Mr. Prasad must pay enforcement expenses of $1,500.00 to the Council.
