Date of Consent Order: September 24, 2015
Issue: Hong Hong Luo, representative, and Hong H. Luo Personal Real Estate Corporation, Interlink (2008) Realty Corporation dba Interlink Realty, Richmond, committed professional misconduct within the meaning of section 35(1)(a) of the Real Estate Services Act in that she contravened sections 3-4 and 4-7 of the Council Rules when she failed to act with reasonable care and skill and/or published false or misleading advertising with respect to a property when she relied on previous listings stating that the property was built in 1984 when in fact it was built in approximately 1961.
Results
Hong Hong Luo and Hong H. Luo Personal Real Estate Corporation were subject to an Order of a discipline committee that they:
- be suspended for seven (7) days from October 28, 2015 to November 3, 2015 (inclusive);
- at Ms. Luo's own expense, register for and successfully complete the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course; and
- be jointly and severally liable to pay enforcement expenses to the Council in the amount of $1,250.00.
