Summary
A discipline committee of the Real Estate Council of British Columbia (the "Council") accepted the Consent Order Proposal submitted by Laurellai Terese Lindstrom on her own behalf and on behalf of Laura Lindstrom Personal Real Estate Corporation and found that Ms. Lindstrom and Laura Lindstrom Personal Real Estate Corporation committed professional misconduct when Ms. Lindstrom, while acting as the agent for the Buyers of the Property, failed to use reasonable efforts to discover and advise the Buyers of the Property that the Property was a strata property.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered, and Ms. Lindstrom and Laura Lindstrom Personal Real Estate Corporation have agreed to, the following penalties:
- a reprimand for each;
- a discipline penalty of $1,500, joint and severally liable;
- enforcement expenses of $1,500, joint and severally liable; and
- successful completion of the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course by Ms. Lindstrom.
