Summary
A discipline committee of the Real Estate Council of British Columbia (the "Council") accepted the Consent Order Proposal submitted by Audrey June Busch, and found that Audrey June Busch committed professional misconduct when she:
- failed to disclose in writing to the managing broker of her Brokerage that she was providing rental property management services on her own behalf in relation to her Property; and
- provided real estate services other than on behalf of the Brokerage in relation to which she was licensed as she provided rental property management services for her own commercial property without meeting all the licensee exemption requirements set out in section 9-1(2) of the Rules.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered, and Audrey June Busch has agreed to, the following penalties:
- a reprimand;
- a discipline penalty of $1,000;
- enforcement expenses of $1,500; and
- successful completion of the Rental Property Management Remedial Education Course.
