Summary
Vancouver Luxury Realty's trust funds were withdrawn from the brokerage's trust account on demand of Canada Revenue Agency. The brokerage did not take immediate steps to eliminate the negative trust balance and replenish that account.
Vancouver Luxury Realty failed to keep proper books, records, accounts and other records as required.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered the following:
- Vancouver Luxury Realty is reprimanded and must pay a discipline penalty of $2,000.00 to the Council.
- Vancouver Luxury Realty must pay enforcement expenses of $1,250.00 to the Council.
