Summary
Ka Fung (Juliana) Ho and Baldev Singh Sandhu acted as the listing agents in the sale of a new home built by an owner builder under the provisions of the Homeowner Protection Act. Ms. Ho and Mr. Sandhu did not ensure that an owner-builder disclosure notice was provided to the buyer prior to the offer, as required by that Act.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered the following:
- Ms. Ho is reprimanded.
- Mr. Sandhu is reprimanded.
- At her own expense, Ms. Ho must successfully complete the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course.
- At his own expense, Mr. Sandhu must successfully complete the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course.
