Summary
Victor Mironyuk collected and received fees online via Paypal in relation to real estate transactions offered through his website and then failed to promptly pay or deliver those fees to his brokerage, contrary to section 27(1 )(a) and (b) of the Real Estate Services Act.
When Mr. Mironyuk advertised online payment via Paypal for real estate services, he failed to act honestly and with reasonable care and skill, in contravention of section 3-4 of the Council Rules.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered the following:
- Victor Mironyuk is reprimanded.
- He must pay a discipline penalty of $2,500.00 to the Council.
- At his own expense, he must successfully complete the Real Estate Trading Services Remedial Education Course.
- He must pay enforcement expenses of $1,500.00 to the Council.
