The day‐to‐day management of the Council staff is the responsibility of the Executive Officer. The management team and staff support the delivery of programs and services for consumers and licensees. As of June 30, 2015, the Council staff consisted of 47 full‐time employees and one part‐time employee.

Robert O. Fawcett
The Executive Officer is responsible for the overall effective management of the organization, under the general direction of the Council and as prescribed in the Real Estate Services Act and Bylaws.
Deputy Executive Officer
The Deputy Executive Officer oversees a broad range of initiatives critical to the achievement of strategic goals as well as to the operational success of the organization.
Director, Accounting & Audit
The Director Accounting & Audit is responsible for the review of compliance reporting by brokerage, maintenance and monitoring of the external auditing program, and internal financial reporting.
Director, Legal Services
The Director, Legal Services oversees the management, planning, and organization of the legal services department, and provides legal advice to the Council as required.
Under the direction of the Deputy Executive Officer, the Manager of Compliance ensures the consistent and timely investigation and assessment of complaints, and administers claims made against the Real Estate Special Compensation Fund.
Senior Supervisor, Licensing
Under the direction of the Executive Officer, the Senior Licensing Supervisor is responsible for the review and processing of licence applications, renewals, and associated inquiries.
Education & Licensing Officer
Under the direction of the Executive Officer, the Education & Licensing Officer is responsible for planning, management, and evaluation of real estate education, working closely with course providers such as UBC and BCREA.
Under the direction of the Deputy Executive Officer, the Communications Officer plans, coordinates, and evaluates internal and external communications that engage and inform the Council’s stakeholders and the public.
Information Technology Project Manager/Business Analyst
Under the direction of the Deputy Executive Officer, the IT Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for coordinating internal computer networks, IT support and maintenance, including supporting the functioning of the licensing database system, and IT strategic initiatives.
