The Director, Education and Licensing reports to the Executive Officer and is responsible for defining and leading the education and licensing department in the development of short and long-term strategies for the delivery of education and licensing services.

 

You are a trusted visionary and innovative leader, whose passion and purpose reflect the Council’s values of protecting the public interest, improving industry standards, promoting excellence in education and licensing and cost-effective, efficient business practices.

 

You are a strong communicator, with the ability to champion the culture shift and modernization of departmental procedures and processes. 

 

You are an experienced strategist accustomed to working within a regulatory framework and setting benchmark standards.

The Manager of Compliance reports to the Director, Legal Services and is responsible for leading the Compliance Department staff in ensuring the consistent and timely assessment, investigation and resolution of complaints against real estate licensees, and will lead investigations for the suitability for licensing utilizing a best practices investigative framework

 

You are a leader able to empower a team of committed staff, identify process improvements and modernization opportunities, and establish robust training and development programs for compliance officers, all while ensuring transparency for the process and its outcomes.

 

You understand the value in mentoring your team in an atmosphere of respect and collaboration in support of the Council’s values and principles.
