Reporting to and under the direction of the Manager, Compliance, the Compliance Assistant (CA) provides investigative and administrative support to the Manager, Compliance, and to other compliance team members and Council staff. Working in a fast-paced and supported work environment, the CA is expected to provide proactive support to assist in the effective and timely progress of compliance investigations.

Reporting to and under the direction of the Manager, Legal Services, is responsible for 1) policy research, drafting and presentation, 2) contract review, advice, negotiation and drafting, 3) advice respecting relevant legislation and regulation, 4) advice respecting investigation and prosecution of cases and appeals under the Real Estate Services Act, and 5) drafting of written submissions in tribunal and appeal contexts.
