Summary
John Gary Peccia permitted a licensee who was acting as the strata manager for a strata corporation to also provide real estate services to the strata corporation as a caretaker.
Mr. Peccia allowed the licensee to invoice the strata corporation through an unlicensed company for real estate services that he performed as a caretaker, and allowed the licensee in his capacity as strata manager to authorize the invoices for payment by the strata corporation.
Mr. Peccia's actions contravened sections 3-1(1)(b) and 6-1(1) of the Rules.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered the following:
- Mr. Peccia is reprimanded.
- Mr. Peccia must pay enforcement expenses of $1,500.00 to the Council.
