Summary
Naninder Singh Beesla, while licensed with SRS Panorama Realty, Surrey, relied on a statement made by his seller client that no permits were required for renovations that were made on a property listed for sale. Mr. Beesla made the same statement to the buyer's representative when he ought to have known that permits were required for the renovations and that he ought to have disclosed that information to the buyer. By failing to act with reasonable care and skill, he contravened section 3-4 of the Council Rules.
Results
A discipline committee of the Council has ordered the following:
- Naninder Singh Beesla is reprimanded.
- He must pay a discipline penalty of $2,500.00 to the Council.
- He must pay enforcement expenses of $1,500.00 to the Council.
