Date of Consent Order:  January 5, 2015

Issue: Marco Vincenzi, representative, Brookside Realty Ltd. dba Royal LePage – Brookside Realty, Maple Ridge, entered into a Consent Order with the Council that, while licensed with West Coast Realty Ltd. (Coq) dba Sutton Group-West Coast Realty (Coq), Coquitlam, he committed professional misconduct within the meaning of section 35(1)(a) of the Real Estate Services Act in that he:

(a) contravened section 20 of the Real Estate Services Act by providing real estate services on or about June 22, 2013 while his licence was suspended by the Council, by accessing property in Port Moody by a lockbox key and showing the property to a co-investor and himself and making representations about the property to a co-investor for the purpose of potentially acquiring the said property as an investment for the co-investor and himself; and

(b) contravened section 35(1)(f) of the Real Estate Services Act by failing to comply with an Order of the Council dated April 24, 2013 which suspended his licence from June 5, 2013 to October 2, 2013.

Result: Marco Vincenzi was subject to an Order of a discipline committee that he: (a) be suspended for sixty (60) days from January 14, 2015 to March 14, 2015 (inclusive), (b) will not provide services as an unlicensed assistant during the suspension period; and (c) pay enforcement expenses to the Council in the amount of $1,250.00.
