DOUGLAS LEE (LEROY) JARVIS
ORDER UNDER SECTION 43(4) OF THE REAL ESTATE SERVICES ACT
Whereas on June 17, 2010 a Real Estate Council of British Columbia Discipline Committee, in the form of a Consent Order Review Committee, ordered that:
1. Douglas Lee (Leeroy) Jarvis ( “Mr. Jarvis ”) be reprimanded, successfully complete the Trading Services Remedial Education Course as provided by the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia by October 31, 2010 and be jointly and severally liable to pay enforcement expenses to the Council in the amount of $1,000 by August 16, 2010.
2. If Mr. Jarvis fails to comply with the terms of the order, the Council may suspend or cancel his license without further notice to him pursuant to sections 43(3) and 43(4) of the Real Estate Services Act.
Whereas as of August 18, 2010 Mr. Jarvis has not paid any portion of the enforcement expenses of $1000.00 by the deadline of August 16, 2010 and has not surrendered his licence to the Council ’s Licensing Supervisor:
This Discipline Hearing Committee orders that Mr. Jarvis ’s licence is hereby suspended until such time as he pays the enforcement expenses in the amount of $1000.00.
